SHIP SPECIFICATIONS

The Requin was the basic flight trainer for atmospheric and low orbital instruction. Once pilots had mastered the simulators, they were let loose on the Requins. The flight systems were pre-programmed with the characteristics of common ship types, so the pilot could get the feel of using a Heavy Freighter, a Moth or a Ghost without having to take one off other duties. Requins had other uses; gunnery and courier duties. A few were equipped as fighters, although their performance would never have let them egage a Dissenter with any hope of success .
